200 years dedicated to hospitality
Two hundred years ago,
in 1810, Joseph Anton Sanoner purchased an inn in what was then the little mountain village of Ortisei.
“Der Adler” – meaning “the Eagle” in English – has since grown in the course of
seven generations, including some turbulent times, to become today’s ADLER DOLOMITI Spa & Sport Resort, which celebrates its
bicentenary in 2010.
At the beginning of the 1980s, Andreas and Klaus Sanoner became the 6th generation to assume responsibility for the ADLER and, together with their wives Verena and Karin, still run the resort today. The guiding spirit of the ADLER is still Elly Sanoner, who has now been looking after guests for over 55 years – with great charm and a kind heart.
In addition to the original Hotel ADLER DOLOMITI, the
ADLER THERMAE Spa & Relax Resort opened in Tuscany in 2004 followed by the
ADLER BALANCE Spa & Health Resort in Ortisei in December 2008, all under the
ADLER Spa Resorts brand.
